Rodeo Q All-Stars
Abbie Grace Suggs - 2017 Miss Texas High School Rodeo Queen.
She may be little but she is fierce! 2016 Jr. NFR Qualifier.
I am a California Cowgirl transplanted to Wynnewood Oklahoma! I love living in Oklahoma because it is so rich in my Choctaw Indian heritage. My ancestors walked the Trail Of Tears to settle in Oklahoma and I love living in Indian Territory!! I am 16 years old and I will be a Junior in High School next year! I started competing in AQHA and High School Rodeo events in 2016 during my Freshman year and this past year I am also competing in NRCHA events as well. I compete in Reined Cow Horse, Cutting, Breakaway, Poles and Team Roping. I am serving as the National Reined Cow Horse Youth Association (NRCHYA) Treasurer this year and because I am in Epic Charter School’s Independent Study program for High School, I am also working and training with my Dad, professional horse trainer Mark Luis, on a daily basis.
My Dad is my hero and he has taught me everything I know about riding and showing horses and he inspires me to work hard to be the best that I can be and to really enjoy and embrace the journey! My Mom is my rock, she is always there for me no matter what and she has inspired me in my faith in God, my desire to always be a person of excellence and to believe that with God, all things are possible! I love working with my Dad everyday and we love to hunt, fish, ski and surf as a family as well. I have been so blessed and honored to be a member of Rodeo Quincy All Star Team this past year and I am humbled to be invited to continue as a Rodeo Q All Star Team member for the 2017/2018 season. I have been riding horses since I was two years old and to say that horses are my passion would be an understatement, horses are my life, and I thank God everyday for blessing me with the life that I live!!
